Holstein Friesian or HF Cows
are crossbred cattle. Holstein breed of cow originated in Northern Germany and
Friesians were found in Netherlands. These horned dairy animals have black and
white patch marks on their entire body. These have approximately 580 kg weight
(average). Due to their strong immunity power, HF Cows can endure seasonal changes of different continents. Daily
milk production capacity of these dairy animals ranges between 15 liter to 20
liter. Milk produced by these cows has low fat content. Average lactations time
of this species of cow is 3.2. This species of cattle is also raised for beef
production purpose.
